Такова текущая ситуация в современной науке и практике в области психического здоровья. Практически по всем показателям заболеваемость и распространенность проблем психического здоровья растет во всем мире, а наши подходы по достижению улучшения ставятся под сомнение. Депрессия сегодня является основной причиной инвалидности во всем мире 1 , а показатели распространенных психических расстройств стремительно растут, особенно среди молодежи 2 .В то же время биомедицинские методы лечения становятся более общими, но не более специфичными, а улучшения размера эффекта как для психосоциальных, так и для биомедицинских вмешательств минимальны или отсутствуют 3 . Беспокойство по поводу побочных эффектов и нарушения физиологических процессов стимулируются за счет длительного и частого использования общих классов психоактивных препаратов 4 . Полное геномное картирование сотен тысяч человек не подтверждает ведущую роль генов в этиологии большинства психических расстройств 5 .В контексте данных вызовов для этой области будет разумно переориентироваться на свою цель. Если это произойдет, то в настоящее время имеется большой объем работы для ориентации нового стратегического подхода.Наука о вмешательствах в психиатрии давно стремится к пониманию человеческого страдания, основанному на определении функционально важных процессов этиологии, развития, поддержания и изменений, чтобы потом помочь отдельным клиентам достичь своих целей с помощью целенаправленных и эмпирических проверенных методов, учитывающих особенности человека.
